A new series of 5 proof silver (999‰) collector coins celebrates Portuguese tilework from the 16th–20th centuries. Designed by Eduardo Aires, each square coin features ceramic inlays in pigmented zirconia, reinterpreting the colors and styles of each period.
Developed with the Mint, the National Tile Museum (Museu do Azulejo) and the University of Minho (Universidade do Minho), this limited edition set (3,000 cases only) includes five €5 coins, available exclusively as a complete collection.
